  • Dates: 19th – 21st October 2026
  • Venue: Kampala Serena Hotel, Kampala
REC26 & EXPO will convene policymakers, private sector leaders, development partners, researchers, and innovators to explore pathways for scaling renewable energy solutions that support Uganda’s green economy.
The conference will focus on strengthening energy systems, accelerating clean cooking adoption, unlocking investment, and expanding productive use of renewable energy.

Dissemination of the knowledge products under the RA-PURE nexus

The National Renewable Energy Platform (NREP) convened a dissemination workshop at Four Points by Sheraton Kampala to present and discuss the findings of the Social and Behavioral Change baseline study conducted under the Power for Food Programme, implemented with support from SNV Netherlands Development Organisation and the IKEA Foundation.

JThe 4th edition of Power & Elec Uganda, the country’s largest international exhibition and conference on power, energy, electrical, electronics, lighting, solar, and other renewables, returns on 9th –11th July 2026. It brings together utilities, manufacturers, distributors, EPC contractors, and investors for networking, technology showcases, and business matching focused on Uganda’s green energy transition.

11th Annual Oil and Gas Convention 2026

The 11th Oil and Gas Convention (OGC), scheduled for 28th to 29th April 2026 at the Kampala Serena Hotel, Uganda, marks a historic turning point in Uganda’s economic history. As the nation prepares for commercial production, the convention serves as the definitive platform for the transition from development to a multi-decade operational phase. Organized by the Uganda Chamber of Energy and Minerals (UCEM), the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development (MEMD), and the Uganda National Oil Company (UNOC) .

International Conference on Sustainable Building and Energy Solutions

Set for 23 June 2026 in Kampala, this conference brings together researchers, professionals, investors, and policymakers to explore sustainable building practices and renewable energy integration.
